The Eternal World Tree

The Eternal World Tree

Om Shanti means that I am a soul filled with the essence of peace just as a seed is filled with the essence of the emerging tree.

To understand human creation and the entire human world tree, we must first become conscious of ourselves as the soul, the seed, from which we grow and are sustained.

The human world tree represents the entire human population where each leaf represents an individual soul. This tree begins from the Supreme Seed, God, from which the trunk of the tree emerges. Later branches sprout out from that main trunk to represent the various religions of the world.

This is the awareness that will help us to recognise and understand God as the Supreme Seed of the eternal, vast and unlimited human world tree.

The example of the seed and tree is used to explain eternity. The tiny seed from which a huge tree emerges includes all the secrets of growth and sustenance of the tree. First the roots grow and then the trunk emerges followed by branches and leaves. Once fully grown, it sustains itself till the time of decay. But well before the tree dies, new seeds would have been produced to ensure continuity. At no time does the tree end its existence. The tree is eternal. Similarly, the human world tree is eternal. But there must be continual renewal that explains the human world cycle.

A cycle, where the tree starts as a fresh shoot, grows to maturity with the nutrients of the surroundings and decays after it's physical life span and the depletion of the natural resources that sustained it. But the seeds that were produced repeat the same cycle. There is constant change and development but the trees will always exist.

Just as the roots of a tree are the foundation, upon which the tree thrives, it is important for us to lay the right foundation for our future based on the Laws of Karma, the law of action and reaction. The seeds we sow now will create the future world that we are personally responsible for.

We can lay the foundations to create Heaven on Earth or make our lives similar to being in Hell with its sorrow and unhappiness. It is our personal choice.

Timing is important when we sow seeds to cultivate a crop. Similarly, if we do not make effort to transform at the right time, our desired aims and objectives cannot be realised.

The same applies to education as well. If we do not make the right efforts to educate ourselves when the opportunity is presented, we shall miss the boat to a secure and stable future.

We often need motivation to educate ourselves and make the right efforts at the correct time. The desire to experience peace and happiness is the wonderful motivation to cultivate a responsible attitude and become aware of the call of time.

We are at the Confluence Age, the age at the end of the old cycle where we experience an increasing amount of unhappiness, sorrow and the beginning of the new cycle. The new age, when the old is transformed to become new.

Our physical resources have been depleted but not replaced. Three quarters of the world population live in adverse poverty. Live on Earth is "Hell" for the majority of humans. It is time to transform!

This transformation will come with knowledge, meditation and establishing a relationship with God to give the souls both the power and the understanding to perform the right actions. The right actions that will form the roots or foundation of the New World, the Golden Age, that existed in the past.

The New Cycle

From the roots of a tree, one main trunk emerges. Similarly, in the Golden Age, we shall have one religion, one government, one world family, one kingdom and one language.

We shall all be happy in whatever roles we play. There will be contentment and satisfaction in all relationships. Peace and harmony will prevail. We shall be perfect with divine qualities. We shall be described as deities. The average life span in this Golden Age will be about 150 years due to the pure and peaceful way of life. Being a life without suffering, fear or attachments, life will be enjoyed to its fullest extent. It will be heaven on Earth!

Yes there will be deaths but these will be viewed as the time to shed the old "costume" and don a new, perfect "costume". Humans in this age are aware that they are souls in a "Human Costume".

The Golden Age is the period of liberation in life. During this period that spans 1250 years, a total of 8 different "costumes" are adopted.

With successive re-births, the Golden Age soon gives way to the Silver Age where the original souls would have lost some of their powers, purity and peace. Their average life span over the 1250 years in the Silver Age will be less at about 105 years which means they take 12 re-births in this age.

The Golden and Silver Ages together represent the first half of the human world cycle where the inhabitants live in happiness and peace. They were aware of their selves as spiritual souls in a physical "Costume" or body. Peace was the original religion and they are aware of the Supreme Soul, the Father.

By the end of the Silver Age, half of the power of purity that the souls once experienced would have been lost. The Copper Age begins when these souls lose their original powers from becoming "Body Conscious".

They begin to enjoy physical pursuits rather than spiritual intoxication. Rather than be masters, they become slaves to their senses. They begin to desire other bodies and material possessions that lead to desires and expectations.

Lust replaces purity. With lust, comes violence, anger, attachment, greed and arrogance that create unhappiness and sorrow.

The undivided kingdom becomes divided. The one trunk of the original religion of peace becomes divided to form the branches. Without the divine way of life, immortality is lost. Souls take 21 births in the Copper Age.

Due to they own actions, they experience sorrow and suffering. In their distress the One Supreme, Eternal, Father is worshipped and remembered as the Incorporeal who represented by a diamond to symbolise the incorporeal, radiating light all around.

But besides worshipping the One God, they also begin to worship the deities of the past without the realisation that they, themselves, were those divine beings. This deity religion soon becomes known as the Hindu religion with its idol worship.

Religions come into existence when spiritual laws had to be written to ensure that there is law and order in the world that is becoming degraded. Laws for social behaviour, human relationships and physical systems are written and defined to create a more structured world.

God's reaction to idol worship is to send prophets to educate His children.

First comes Abraham with the message that idol worship will not create a reunion with God. He forms the first "Branch" called Judaism that is based on spiritual laws. Judaism is the path of Law with laws for human behaviour and relationships.

The second messenger is Budda who comes to show the path to purity and nobility in actions. He preachs personal reformation rather than the Supreme Soul. His concern is the degradation of human behaviour that creates sorrow and sufferings.

The third messenger is Christ whose message is to balance love with the law that was prescribed by Judaism. Christ shows God as the merciful Father with the quality of love.

Shankaracharya then establishes the branch of Sanyas where the message is to refrain from indulgence of the physical senses without the concern or responsibility for the consequences. The power of purity is emphasised.

The messenger Mohammed than comes with his very simple, clear, direct and most essential message. This message is to remember just the only One, the only one God named Allah, who is the Supreme Father.

Each of these branches of religions started with complete unity and purity and helped millions. But with time, the purity of their messages became adulterated.

Throughout the Copper Age great religions appear and each flourish because they address the needs of the time. But towards the end of the Copper age, in which souls take a total of 21 births, divisions in the main religions occur with a split in their original theories. This is compounded by how the religions are preached, followed and the numerous human interpretations of the original messages.

Each of these splits in the main religions represent the twigs in the branches of the human world tree. These "twigs" are not the original religions but rather different sects, cults and "isms".

No longer does a Buddhist follow the footsteps of the Buddha or does a Christian try to be Christ-like. Furthermore, the original message is questioned to give rise to doubt and confusion.

The branches that once sustained the tree become weak. The believe in God, our Father, begins to crumple together with our peace and happiness.

This happens towards the end of the Iron Age where souls take 42 births over the 1250 years due to their weaknesses in having lost most of their powers of purity in the life of bondage.

When the human degradation cannot continue, rather than send messengers, God, the Supreme, incarnates on Earth to educate His children and lay the foundations for the new tree, the new cycle.

God transforms the souls, with divine knowledge, to make them become the foundations for the New World. This transformation is achieved by education to change the consciousness and lead to a change in all negative habits and personalities.

Suggested Thoughts for Meditation

With the power of pure thought … I go beyond my physical costume … this body … I travel to the World of Light … the Home of my Father, the Supreme Soul … I bathe in the light of Baba … my Father … I am filled with such peace … such calmness … such stability.

Baba is the Ocean of Love … I drown in that love … I become that love … and the fire of that love burns and dispels all that is negative within the soul … and I am filled with the virtues of God.

Baba is the Ocean of Knowledge … the Seed of the Tree … As I come to this my Father … my Teacher … I am filled with all Knowledge … all understanding … I see the significance of the Drama … I see the role of all actors …

Now I am content … for all is revealed … I am a peaceful soul.
