God, The Supreme |

When we accept that we are all souls, we begin to understand that we are all equal and are brothers except that with our different physical costumes, each of us play a different role on this world stage.
And there must be the Supreme Soul or Being, with the power, energy and knowledge to assume the role of Father. This Supreme Being must also be a soul, a spark of light, with a unique mind, intellect and personality. The unique personality that makes God perform only beneficial actions. An intellect that is beyond limitations and with complete wisdom and awareness.
God is recognised as the One who gives unlimited love, peace and mercy by all religions.
The idea of the existence of the One Supreme Being or God is not easy because, thought they all refer to the same God, different images of This God have been trust upon us by a multitude of religions and scriptures. These different images and teachings are necessary because each address specific needs of their followers, who, themselves are unique.
Just as the shape of a candle flame or a seed is oval in shape, God must be of a similar shape because God is remembered as a form of light or seed with an oval shape by most religions.
We cannot see our soul but we know that it exists. We would expect our soul to be tiny and oval shaped. But we certainly can experience our soul. We also understand that our physical body will be pronounced dead the instant we, the souls, leave our physical bodies.
This implies that we are certainly not the body that is reflected in a mirror. We are the souls that are "reflected" by the character and behaviour of the physical body.
Similarly, we cannot see God but some of us are able experience God when we make the effort to link with our Father. This is a unique experience because it is a unique link between the individual soul and the Supreme Soul.
With focused thoughts, we may experience the qualities of love, purity, peace, bliss and power that we understand are the definite characteristics of God.We can experience the wonders of God when we realise that we, the sweet children of God, have the same qualities of our Father.
All that is required is to remember our Father and be conscious of the fact that we are the sweet children of God.
In God, we experience the relationship of a Father with His dominant role and the Mother for the Love and Mercy. In fact, we can experience God in all relationships of Friend, Teacher, Guru and Beloved.
Some may experience the Father as the Supreme Judge. But would a loving parent judge, hurt or punish their own children?
No. They will not. Parents love, provide, teach and guide their children. But when the children disregard sound advise and perform actions that gets them into difficulties, the parents will be powerless to provide help.
Similarly, God does not judge, hurt or punish His sweet children. But when we perform actions that we know are incorrect, we shall always have to pay the price. What we sow, we shall reap.
To build that loving relationship with God, God must be seen as a pinpoint on which we can focus our concentration. It is not possible for the mind to concentrate on a huge expanse or form.
Names help to establish relationships. The one name that carries a multitude of meanings and significance is the sanskrit name "Shiva" which means the Benefactor, the point and the seed. God is also referred to as "Father" or "Baba" to convey the loving and protective relationship of a father.
When we take a physical human body we are governed by the laws of action and reaction (karma) which results in happiness or sorrows in accordance to our actions.
The Supreme Soul is free from the dualities of birth and death, pleasure and pain, success and failure. He is beyond the effect of action and reaction. He is outside the realm of time.
When our souls leave the body, we return to the incorporeal world of the Supreme Being which is "Heaven" because we shall experience total freedom in our actions, words and thoughts.
Is God everywhere?
No, He cannot be everywhere because if He was everywhere, we shall experience the same Godly qualities of love, purity, knowledge, peace and bliss in everyone and everything around us. This is clearly not the case!
There is only one Supreme Soul who resides in one location from which His qualities radiate just as a radio transmitter from one location transmits the same message to the entire world without being physically present all over the world.
Using the same analogy, we note that a radio receiver in any corner of the world can receive the transmission but only if it is tuned to the specific wavelength or frequency.
This is probably the clue to why few of us are able to experience the Supreme Father in our daily lives.
When our minds are tuned to the physical activities of the gross world and material objects around us, we cannot pick up God's transmissions in the form of divine thoughts.
If our minds maintained a stage of soul-consciousness, we shall definitely pick up the vibrations, and through our thoughts, we can make contact and experience the love and bliss of the relationship with our Father.
